(All indoor posts for the ground floor will be placed here please, just use the title of the thread to indicate where you are. We're just getting started so I'm sure we'll all find a good system soon.)
A voice echoed through the rooms, people being woken on beds and couches where they more than likely hadn't been on one before. It was a voice that sounded remarkably like Tim Curry actually. "Guests! Everyone, time to wake up! Come to get breakfast and I'm sure there might be a clue or two I can give you about what's going on. Just follow the sound of my voice~."
There was a quiet laugh, but any who followed the voice actually could, little singsonging leading the way off to the breakfast nook.

Re: Breakfast Nook
"Why are we here?"
Re: Breakfast Nook
He flipped open his phone and fiddled with it then. Okay this was like the golem programing he could handle this. He poked Kanda and showed him what he was finding out. he looked at their host and hoped he'd answer Zack.
Re: Breakfast Nook
He was still lying about the innocence but that was just precaution. "How do we go about earning our weapons back or obtaining charms?" He questioned their host because now he was curious. Charms, that would give them ways to use their abilities and others they didn't have it seemed. If that wasn't the case and it was just bestowing powers or something it still was a chance. He waited for a response to their questions.
The swordsman would go from there depending on the answers.
Re: Breakfast Nook
"I imagine if we ask our gracious hosts as to the purpose of our kidnappings we'll learn something, even if it isn't the vaguest notion of truth."
He'd come in after the conversation had started and while the transportation was a bit awkward, it wasn't unlike moving with the Dark. Which was interesting.
Re: Breakfast Nook
Her eyes skittered a bit wildly around the room taking in the collection of humans and the holo addressing them.
Re: Breakfast Nook
"You get out when you find your way past Aillen's Puzzle, the doorway above the stairs. When that happens depends on you, little ones.
Your clothing and necessities will appear as needed, and there are always beings to bargain with on the grounds somewhere. Who knows, if you are lucky, you might even be able to get goods such as weapons that way."
He looked at the two exorcists. "You might not get your specific weapons back, though maybe you will. And charms are everywhere. There are challenges given out each morning, and first come, first serve for the charms they offer."
A purr at them, as he looked them all over. "As for why you are here, well, that is really quite simple. You are here for the entertainment of those who can't die."
He snapped his fingers again, and a cushion with a variety of charms appeared before one of his guests. "You may take one. This is our second gift to you. Once you pick one off the cushion, it will go to the next person. Touch the charm to the note, and it will tell you what that charm does, and if it is active or passive."
((Okay, the charms are as follows: Blue Enamel Fairy, Green Glass Moon, Iron Crab, Red Enamel Eye, Red Glass Snake, White Birds, Bronze Mask, Silver and Red Dragon, Green Enamel Lily Wreath, Black Birds, Gold Eyes, White Enamel Unicorn, Blue Enamel Moon, Gold Deer, Clear Glass Anchor, Bronze Starfish, Blue Glass Snake, Clear Glass Dragon, Gold Starfish, Gold Enamel Fairy.
It'll go to one person at a time, so keep track of what people ahead of you pick. People, make sure you write down the whole description of the charm. Details are important.
Enjoy.))
Re: Breakfast Nook
Interesting.
Re: Breakfast Nook
He nodded lightly and glanced at the others without any words spoken. "So we're they new toys to play with..." He would get out somehow and take Allen with him. As much as he hated to admit it life would not be the same without the other around.
Re: Breakfast Nook
Taking the blue glass snake from the pillow, and placing it on his collar he read the accompanying note Control of outdoor creatures - Water based. Interesting he thought.
Re: Breakfast Nook
The Blue enamel fairy was so cute, and so were the white birds, and the white unicorn and the deer and.... Leaning forward on her seat to get a better view, she felt the wings on her back hit something, or someone.
That decided it - the white birds would go with her outfit. Leaning forward she took the charm and note fromm the pillow. Quickly clipping to her collar she read the note and had to stop a squeal of delight from escaping. Active - Growing Wings. She would be able to fly, she hoped.
Re: Breakfast Nook
"One for sorrow, two for joy, three for a girl, four for a boy, five for silllver, six for gold, seven for a secret..." He picked up the black birds carefully, touching then to the charm already on his collar, a little bit of decoration he was still uncertain he cared for. Flight without wings, as though I've never done that before...
Re: Breakfast Nook
Just what he needed.
Re: Breakfast Nook
He checked it out
Re: Breakfast Nook
Someone who had discovered the secret of matter trasnmission.
When the pillow was passed to her she looked at the small figureines and picked up the small, dark bronze mask. Copying the other's motions, she brought it up to the small ornament already gracing her collar. Active. came a small whisper in her mind. Change appearance to an inanimate.
She jerked it away from the collar with a startled hiss. Something speaking in her mind! She'd heard rumors about what the Sith Lords and Jedi could do and this was a war against the Sith she was fighting in.
"Sith! A Sith trick!" She spat, more than a little fearful. Perhaps the escape pod had never reached Taris at all. She wanted to throw the mask away from her, but she'd heard of how tempermental the Sith Lords could be if you spurned them. But she didn't clip it to her collar, instead she just held it.
Re: Breakfast Nook
In a way, he was glad Mary wasn't here. She didn't have to deal with...whatever was going to happen. It was like they were rats being set into a maze. He ran his hand over the back of his skull, scratching at the bandages there, staring at his knees. He had to get out of this place and find Mary and St. Blue. Knowing his luck, Dante was probably getting closer and closer to finding her with each minute wasted...wherever here was.
He blinked when he recieved the pillow, eyeing the remaining fare, studying the little charms. He considered over the enameled ones, but the one that caught his eyes was the iron bauble. He picked studied it for a moment, trying to discern what the little creature on it was, picking up the charm between his fingers carefully, letting the pillow pass on. What was that thing? It was rather ugly...
He touched the charm to the note already on the collar, mimicking everyone before him. Active - Armor. He blinked. The little piece would give him armor...? He frowned, trying to work the clasp with his bandaged fingers before giving a little noise of frustration, catching the clip holding the almost-fabric like strips in place with his other hand, unwinding the bandages and using what was left of his fingernails to clip the charm in place. He flicked it just in case, nodding when he was rewarded with a soft noise of success. Johnny eyed the unwrapped hand, beginning to redo it as best as he could without use of his mouth.
